How you measure your progress when it comes to improving your health is vitally important to your motivation and momentum.
If you focus mostly on the pounds lost to determine progress, it will bring you on an emotional rollercoaster of joy and frustration. It can be easy to give up during times of frustration.
If you focus on the strength gains to determine progress, there is no rollercoaster of emotions.
There is only a steady improvement of your strength, resulting in long term commitment, sustainable weight loss and more fun!
