In this series of “Life Changing principles”, I am sharing the formula for how to balance your health, stress, career, and self confidence because developing these unique habits and behaviors will help you sustain a strong body, optimal energy and a powerful mindset more than any diet or fitness program ever could.
This formula provides you with a long term solution to no longer feeling tired, overweight, stressed, unworthy or frustrated as you’re striving to feel your best and live your best life.

Developing these skills means you are ready to have total control of your life.
The third thing we need to think about is managing our mind.
Optimizing mind management is more than just staying positive or taking a biyearly vacation to kick back and relax.
We need to adopt empowering values and philosophies about our mental and emotional health.
Our thought patterns and our stress management support everyday practices and habits that fuel our mind with empowerment, confidence and ambition.
Most of us we want to get rid of stress and overwhelm that takes us down a vortex of negative thoughts and emotions.
So the common solution is to ESCAPE! We find our favorite HBO shows to watch at night with a bottle of wine and we try to forget about our day.
Or we plan our next vacation so we can escape our reality and get the chance to relax. That helps us restore our mental and emotional energy for the short term but what happens when we come back from vacation?
Is everything all better? Has it disappeared?
No, it starts all over again.
What happens when we keep distracting ourselves from the day to day drama or stress or negativity that’s in our lives – does it just go away?
No, it just gets harder for us to deal with.
We’ve got to face reality and choose to learn the skills and practice the habits that help us create a reality that we actually desire.
Mind Management Tip #1: We need to take full inventory
What are those thoughts and emotions that are going on in your mind?
Some people aren’t even conscious of the negative thought patterns that are constantly going on in their mind throughout the day.
If we’re oblivious we have no way of managing our mindset. We need to toss out negative thought patterns altogether, those thought patterns are holding us down.
This is the most essential habit for mind management; to get rid of the negative thought patterns it takes 300 repetitions to retrain your brain to think differently. So you have to replace those negative thought patterns starting yesterday! Okay?
Mind Management Tip #2: We need to set reminders to be more present.
My pioneers loved this lesson.
Simply putting reminders in your phone, places you work or places that you pass by daily to remind you of the things you want to do, be, or act more often.
We have all things that we want to do more often – maybe you want to be more loving or maybe you want to call your mom more often but you get preoccupied and forget to do these things.
Are you setting reminders for yourself anywhere or do you just expect yourself to remember everything?
If you set reminders there is greater chance you’ll get it done and you’ll also be more present in your day to day actions, thoughts, and behaviors.
Mind Management Tip #3: Learn to love your imperfections
This is huge because if we have guilt, feel stuck in the past or worried about the future, we aren’t able to move forward in our lives because we’re regretful of things.
This is going to cause stress and usually weight gain which doesn’t serve a purpose in your life.
You’ve got to let go of imperfections especially when you’re looking in the mirror and you’re looking at yourself thinking ” judge, judge, judge, judge, judge, judge, judge”.
Isn’t there enough of that going on in the world already?
You don’t need judgement from yourself.
Learn to love your imperfections and let go of guilt because guilt is going to ruin your life experience.
Your day to day feelings create your life experience and if your constantly feeling guilty about whatever happened in your past or yesterday when you ate Burger King or birthday cake, that’s just not a way to live, we got to learn to let go.
Mind Management Tip #4: Create a vision board of ambition.
A lot of people think this is some kind of old school high school assignment.
But it’s not. It’s important to create a vision board of what you aspire to achieve in your life and have a constant reminder of this vision to shows you you’re getting closer.
The result is creating a reality that you enjoy rather than trying to escape it, feeling excited about your life again.
I want you to become stronger both mentally and emotionally because avoidance is a great short term strategy to avoid pain and a long term strategy to ensure suffering.
When it comes to reaching your big goals and dreams you have to go way deeper than your first level solutions by using many of the strategies I mentioned in this series.
When you develop a deeper understanding of what you truly want for your life and why it really matters to you, that’s when long term transformation happens for you.
Otherwise, when life gets busy and things get harder it’s easy to give up.
I hope this deep dive into some of the very important habits, values and philosophies inside the formula have given you some additional ideas and strategies to implement into your life right now.
